Roam demonstrates O2's image processing power through interactive, real-time
display of large-scale, detailed images. The default image for this demo is a 1K x 1K, (3.1 Meg) RGB
image of San Francisco. Alternate images can be loaded via the File menu:
4K x 4K image of Berlin (16 MB RGB).
4K x 4K image of a mammogram (3.6 MB RGB).
2K x 2K color image of San Francisco (1.7 MB jpg will decompress to 25 Meg RGB)
On O2 systems with more than 64 Meg of memory try the 3K x 3K (28 Meg RGB) or 4K x 4K (50 Meg! RGB) images. Please read the JPEG-README file to speed up roam's load times for these images.
Menu Options:
File Menu: Open new images, Close current image, Exit program
Window Menu: Image Processing and Motion
these menu options will open a new window with controls for manipulating the image and performing image processing on the image.
